A limited edition print is one in a series of high quality reproductions made from an original artwork. The number reproduced is strictly limited and each print is signed by the artist and consecutively numbered, giving each an individual identity.

What is the difference between a limited edition print and a poster?
A limited edition print is a multi-color reproduction of an image printed on a acid-free fine art stock. A poster incorporates an artistīs image into a graphic design using only four colors on a coated sheet of paper.

Why are there two signatures on this print?
When the artist completes an original work, he or she signs it. This signature is reproduced when the image is printed. The artist then signs each print, after the edition is printed. That signature verifies that the artist has looked at and approved your print.

What do the numberīs mean?
There are two numbers on a limited edition print, for example 102/9500. The number at the bottom (9500) refers to the total number of reproductions in the edition. The number above (102) is the number of the individual print.

How are the secondary market prices determined?
The secondary market is the national average of prices paid by collectors to secure limited edition prints that are sold out. The price you pay for a sold-out limited edition print may be higher or lower than the national average depending on what the seller is willing to accept or you are willing to pay.

Why is this print $150 and this one $500 when they are both by the same artist?
